Over thirty women gathered for an opportunity to write in the quiet setting of Bonshaw Community Centre and nearby Bonshaw Hall.

Morning workshop topics were: The Sensual World, with Yvette Doucette; Sitting Down to Write, with Margaret A. Westlie; Life Blood of Character: Using Monologue to Improve Character Development, with Liza Oliver; Blue Pencil Cafe with a Twist, with Laurie Brinklow; Touch the Soul: Poetry from the Deep Places, with Beth E. Janzen.

Afternoon workshops were: Finding a Poem in a Photograph, with Margot Maddison-MacFadyen; Write Scene, with Kathleen Hamilton; Animals in Fiction for Juvenile Readers and Young Adults, with Orysia Dawydiak; and Playing with Poetry Forms, with Dianne Hicks Morrow.
